The first quarter Friday Recap 2018
So far 2018 on Who She Reads has been full of events, new authors and books and we are just getting started. During events, book tour hosting events will be later in the day so you may see several posts on some days. Writer Spotlights will be done in between Author Events so as to make sure the authors get all the attention for that day. I have reached out to a few publishers and writers worldwide through social media and hope they will send some of their new authors and books this way.
So if you have a minute lovelies, let's get you up to speed. Remember you can always subscribe and you will get posts straight to your inbox.
In January, while most of us were suffering with the winter blues or January blues, including this blogger, I decided to start the year off with a non fiction event so that my lovely readers could enjoy some motivational reading and self improvement books. I thought it would line up perfectly with new years resolutions. If you supported any of the authors during that event make sure you give them and us a shout out on Twitter @whoshereads using #itsjustabunchofnonfiction Tell us what book you got!
March 1st we had our first Writer Spotlight of 2018. I was so excited to have author Claire Buss share her book with us. If you missed it you can see what she talked about and the book she brought to Who She Reads.

The second half of January was all about Clean Reads and Christian Fiction. Next year I hope to have a boatload more authors to share because I do like the occasional non smoldering romance, fantasy, or what have you.

In February we once again celebrated with Who She Reads flagship author event-14 Days of Love- my favorite author event of the year. We were introduced to some smoking hot writing.
Be warned... if your kindles melted, I can't take all the credit .... but- you are welcome!
Romance is such a big genre. It can be hard to pick just a few books to feature each year, but it is fun to discover new books and authors. I am hoping that more authors, especially independent authors, will want to actively participate, so more books can be featured.

The Black History Month Author Event just ended and as with all of the previous events we had a nice smattering of new and undiscovered books and authors. Below are some of the books featured throughout the event. Remember if you follow me on Pinterest you will get to see what is coming up prior to the post. If you missed a day, you can search the boards for the events. There are always a few books on the boards that did not appear in the event. As a bonus, I always try to throw in at least one free book per event. Who doesn't like free stuff?!!
