New in 2016

Bringing it all together

It's almost time to say goodbye to 2015.
I have had the awesome opportunity to make new connections with authors, readers, bloggers, aspiring writers and just cool people, but as 2015 gets further in the rearview I'd like to share my plans for 2016.

In 2016, I plan on merging my two ventures:
my wedding business and book blog

What you say!!!!
Well if Taco Bell and Pizza Hut, The MCWhopper, The NayNay and the Whip, Batman and Superman, Freddy and Jason, Alien and Predator and Peanut Butter and Jelly can all come together in one place...
Dammit! so can I.

Its no secret that I love weddings. I am a wedding officiant located in Orlando who performs and photographs weddings throughout Central Florida.  I have been sharing the I DO's of local and destination couples getting married in Central Florida for 10 years this coming March 2016. I enjoy meeting couples in love and creatively and romantically sharing their story through a personalized wedding ceremony. I love photographing them and their wedding day and sharing with you visions and elements from the ceremony on my wedding blog... The word Is..., and on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr. I love cake, especially a beautiful moist delicious wedding cake. If wedding cake paid the bills, I would work for wedding cake.

I love books and the authors who write them. I have loved reading since I was a young girl. I always wanted to do something professionally where I could read and talk about books. In 2014 I became a book blogger and  reviewer . In addition, I also offer affordable book promotions to independent (indie) authors and aspiring and new writers.  I share new authors coming out and promote new releases. I share Dollar Tree book finds regularly and have built an amazing list of authors, writers and bloggers on Twitter.   I like connecting with wine lovers, wine connoisseurs, wineries and wine lovers for the #WWAB (Wednesday Wine and Book) weekly segment. People usually eat or drink while reading anyways, so it's fun to pair wines with books and have weekly themes.

Thus the creation of
weddingsbooksnwine.com
site coming soon

Currently I have successfully intergrated my Instagram and Tumblr account with this name.
IG: @weddingsbooksnwine   TUMBLR: @weddingsbooksnwine

Now I am looking for a way to bring both websites together. One site, one portal, to connect you to  my wedding site www.idowedbysheri.com and my book blog www.whoshereads.com

Both sites have their own Pinterest, Twitter and Facebook pages and they share an Instagram and Tumblr account.  Having to maintain both sites and blogs, and the social media for them, separately, has been, admittedly, a bit of a challenge at times. I still review all of my followers to try to list them and make quality connections one account at a time. Sorry but I don't auto follow back and am not interested in buying scads of fake followers or watching cam  girls.  Also if I cannot determine what you are about, I may not follow back right away either. I look for keywords like #writing, #author, #blogger, #marketing, #gamer, #wine, #travel ....you get the drift... so I can easily categorize you. I like my lists and it helps others find you also....You are welcome.

However, whatever venture is popping at the time (be it a wedding or new book post) will be updated accordingly.

In 2016, I will be changing the She Reads logo so that it is easier to read and the blog name will become Who She Reads to distinguish myself from the other She Reads sites with the same name. I will keep you updated on the changes as they happen and let you know when the new portal site becomes live. You will notice logo changes on Twitter and Pinterest this week.

Thank you all so much for your continued support of my services and blogs. I am hoping for a more successful year in 2016.

Twitter will continue to be my catalyst for getting the news out to you.

Facebook will be used but it is not really my favorite when it comes to business. I am considering changing to just one Facebook page as well, under the same name: weddingsbooksnwine.

weddingsbooksnwine.com
Will  have a few more personal blog posts where I talk about food #girlsgottaeat and deals I find when I am out shopping. I will share pictures of my seasonal tablescapes designs and holiday decorations and some pictures I capture. I am looking for a logo design that will capture the essence of all of this and can't wait to reveal it to you all once it's been designed and the site is up and running.
